The Tegal Navy Chair is made of solid rattan using a very traditional rattan construction technique, though instead of thinner reeds, the ties are made of leather. The chair, which will fast become a favorite in a variety of spaces including sunrooms and beachside living rooms, has a name inspired by a city in Central Java, an Indonesian country known for fine rattan craftsmanship. The natural material has a vintage navy finish that adds warmth to the blue chair, which was designed by Aimee Kurzner.
